I don't know if any of you are familiar with this but there are cases when a girl or a guy seems to have a "bestfriend" in the opposite sex. I mean OKAY, great, call it that if you'd like. But what bothers me the effing most is when this one subject has a significant other and the so-called "bestfriend" is one that is the opposite sex (if he/she is heterosexual that is).
WHY? WHY be bestfriends? Why not mother fuckking date? Let's say Harold over here is dating Tina, and they're oh-so into each other, or so they say. But hang the fuck on, Harold is "bestfriends" with this girl Leah. Now here is the batshiatting problem. If Leah has the qualities one would have that Harold admires for her to be his "best"friend, why can't he date her? Is she too grotesque looking? Is she ten years younger? Does *not* fuckking matter! No excuse, why beat around the bush and have Tina?
Friends? Understandable. But singling her out as his "best"friend? I don't see the SENSE. If Harold thinks so highly of Leah *enough* to signify her out of all his other friends, why not freaking date? My exboyfriend and I were bestfriends with EACH OTHER. We believed that we enojoyed each others company as friends and as lovers. We also trusted each other, as friends, and as lovers. We also spent time together, as friends, and as lovers. We had petty arguments, as friends, and as lovers. We BOTH believed that each of us finds qualities in each other thats suitable and admirable that "Yes, we are best friends."
Harold, you're full of shit.
