May 31. Pa-pa-paparazzi, Prom and punk.

Has anyone else seen this episode of Gossip Girl and it was when Dan and Serena recently broke up over the fact that things weren't working out? (well what else is new?)

Anyhoot, it was this climatic ending when the school body was giving LonelyBoy the nasty eye as Serena and her posse came in with this grand entrance? (breathe) The song that was playing was by Santogold (her new name is Santigold, changed due to some copyright shit), called Shove It. Point is, LOVE IT. And another favourite of mine that was in their playlist is Paparazzi by Lady Gaga, and the video just came out a few days ago so check that out, slight 3 minute porn.

WATCH IT HERE

On another note, my friend Anton's prom is on this Friday. I won't even mention how cheesed i am on not being able to book any appointment at *any* MAC locations, due to the fact that they are all fully booked for that day. [FML cameo goes here]
Here is what i am wearing:

all from FCUK -- dress is mine from two years ago, and black cardigan is lent to me by my friend Rachel xo.

my favourite shoes, Balmain inspired, are from Browns for $178.

May 31. NEW DIRECTION

so from now on i'll *try* to be up to date with my blog and post pictures along with witty captions (obviously - or again i'll *try* to)

FASHION is a one of the focal points in my day-to-day life, wherever i go. but cross out hopping to the nearby convenient store, or running to the neighborhood drug store for whatever it is i need!

..but going back to what i began with, i have constantly desired for pieces of clothing that lets me stand out among others or at least work with the simplest t-shirt or the most basic skirt and end up creating something magnificent.

my interest in fashion started when i was 16 or 17, seeing that more than half of the girls from my highschool wore the same outfits, just in different colours, or by different brands. i never wanted to look like an extra from some mediocre, repetitive disney channel show. NO. i'm not going to be like that.

SOO i now work at FCUK for almost two years.

things i recently bought.

this amazing necklace is from my boyfriend FROM Over the Rainbow -- really, they have the best accessories.. but...

at FCUK -- i got this cluster of spherical beads, $40, but i got for 50% off, as an employee. I know, pretty great discount.
