July 30. Where have i been.

Hi!

Where have I been? Nowhere important for the past few days MIA from all the constant blogging. Let's outline the things that I missed on blogging about.

Saturday, July 26: Family trip! The place is Sandbanks, Peterborough. Two-hour drive to the sandy beaches that are non-existent in Toronto. Say what! The outfit of the day was a white skirt with 5 buttons in the from with a garterized band which sat on my waist, over a black loose v-neck shirt topped off with a blue sleeveless cardigan (from the boyfriend). Last but not least, my white Havaianas. The storm was unpredictable -- yes, it comes and goes -- it ALSO restrained us from renting a paddle boat. Thanks a lot mother nature.

Sunday, July 27: FCUK -- Women's floor was my territory of the day. Suggest, suggest! That's what Rachel would always pressure on us to do. I wore my white ruffled long sleeved shirt (speaking of which, I found an alternative on wearing it casually! Hurray!), with my high-waisted denim skinnies, and the usual black peep-toe Steve Madden's. Work was good but singing along the church choir with Beau brought the word surprising to a whole `nother level! Honestly, he didn't really sing. When we finished up our prayers we crossed the road to Dutch Dreams. The line-up was long, what else is new? But was it worth the wait? Yes. Yes it was. We went home, brought the boyfriend with me, spotted in the livingroom with the parents. This is the day I met my grey and white friend.

Monday, July 28: GAP khaki shorts, and a white Reitman's shirt. Don't poke at my middle-class choice of clothing. Let's see you work it? With brown leather gladiators, the sky is the limit. I'm going to outline the day as short as possible considering that I met up with Peter, Rochelle, Kathleen and Beau at Dufferin station, rode the rocket all the way up to Kennedy -- can I mention it was the most grieving 1-hour subway ride of my life. Silence does kill. Then came Alex and his lovely cousin, Carolin. Beau and I went elsewhere while the rest partied it up at PMall! I always found the idea quite funny. Who knows. Beau's pad - we watched a movie, then ate some of his mom's delicious steak, we had some fruit, then cake. Did we eat it all by ourselves? YES. I felt like joining the Biggest Loser, and having to lose. Is that it? Is the day over? Not even close! I met up with Carolin and Alex when boyfriend left to his Dad's -- we rummaged for a dress we could afford for Carolin, who knew she would like the Wizard dress at FCUK? Whole complication came into play and I won't talk about because its WAY too...complicated? Anywho, that being said, we went to Keele, had a bit of ice cream while I looked for my dress to lend Carolin. From Keele we went further west to Royal York and hit it up in Henry's basement. How fun was that.

Tuesday, July 29: Metro Toronto Zoo with Beau. Packed our own food as we walked around the park admiring the lovely animals behind cages (some of them). I saw a majestic elephant! Oh yes, outfit of the day was my red-orange skirt from American Apparel worn at the waist over a white Old Navy tank top, dressed up with a floral scarf. As always, the baggage is the ever-lasting Longchamp Le PliƔge bag. First time for the past couple of weeks, I finally came home before AM. We enjoy McDonalds.

xoxo
